Coronavirus Cases Soar on CMU Campus
Students are back at Central Michigan and now Isabella County says the university is now responsible for over 200 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
The Central Michigan District Health Department says there are 211 confirmed cases and 14 suspected cases connected Mt. Pleasant-based campus since students returned late last month.
On August 24th, an emergency order was issued by CMDHD to limit events to no more than 25 people. University officials have threatened to fine and/or suspend students who host or attend large parties.Greek life has been suspended indefinitely.
