The Race For Bruce Township Clerk

3 Candidates Vie to fill Brockmann's Seat

In Bruce Township, all five seats on the Board of Trustees will all be filled with new officials. Regardless of what happens, Bruce is in for some big changes. Today, we take a closer look at the Clerk's race. The 3-way republican primary will serve as the de-facto general election, with no democrats challenging. So -- either Susan Kraft, Alex Roncelli or Trese Servitto Smith will be the next Clerk barring a write-in campaign.AA

ACD's Zach Clark spoke with all three candidates, trying to figure out what makes them tick.

*Reminder PA 523 of 2012 – requires that you provide a photo ID when registering to vote or requesting an absentee ballot in person Election News Michigan passed a nine-bill election package that went into effect on January 1, 2005. All local school districts, including intermediate and community college districts, as well as village elections will be administered by Michigan’s county, city and township clerks. One result of the consolidation is that we will have (4) days per year that regular elections can be held on: the fourth Tuesday in February and the first Tuesday after the first Monday in May, August and November.  Exceptions are provided for:  Special elections called under the State Constitution by the Governor and the State Legislature; and School Districts, Intermediate School Districts and Community College Districts that wish to present a millage proposal, bond proposal or proposal to borrow funds on a date other than one of the four “fixed” election dates.
